It's important that as many members read this post as possible, so please spread word as quickly as you can.
Hóstell members, I've been given word from my server provider, Raklatif, that he is shutting down his hosting due to insufficient funding. He's told me that our server will be SHUT DOWN PERMANENTLY on June 18th. As a friend of his, I told him that I would do my best to try to help him out here, especially because he has provided a service not only for me, but this entire community, and I hope you all can see this. Not only that, but if he DOESN'T get the help he needs, our server will be shut down. In this scenario, we would have to resort to a MUCH more expensive server. It is in all of your best interests that we keep what we have, because there is not a better deal out there. With a cheaper server, we can afford additional services to provide for you, such as a fretta and minecraft server. Now what I'm going to ask you all to do might be strange, but keep in mind that this is for the benefit of HST, and for our good friend Raklatif, because we owe him a lot for what he's provided for us. It's obvious that the server's not in a good state right now, population-wise, so I'm imagining this won't really have much of an impact on us right now. But I'd like to ask that each and every one of you, go visit DIFFERENT roleplay servers, and share with them the god tier deal that Rak is offering to provide. Particularly, his website, www.ProjectMegalodon.info Look yourself, people. This is what we're using right now, the gold edition. Pretty nice, huh? I actually am capable of putting up an ADDITIONAL SERVER to share the bandwidth with the main. And how many of you have been on the server? Pretty lag-free, right? Remember when I spawned thirty manhacks? And it has 64 slots, not to mention. Guess how much it costs. Originally twelve bucks a month, but for HST, ten, because we're a partner community, and we get a discount. This server for that price is a steal. But guess what? If Rak doesn't get more clients, we don't get to have it anymore. We'll have to move over to the standard price of one dollar a slot, which, if you crunch the numbers, is not double, or triple, or even quadruple, but over six times MORE that we're paying right now. Not only that, but we will no longer have a DDoS Firewall, 300 GB of bandwidth, phenomenal server strength, and of course, easy-access support. SO PLEASE, spread the word, by WHATEVER MEANS. Simply direct people to www.ProjectMegalodon.info, and inform them that there are some DIRT CHEAP server deals, with GOD TIER quality and service. Rak needs a LOT more clients, and our deadline is June 18th. We will be losing a server if he does not get clients. |
